Il est possible de consulter sur place et gratuitement, des livres ???? sur les œuvres du musée et plus encore. Sans oublier la section "exposition temporaire " qui est également gratuite. ????
Acquired mostly from private collections so some artists (that were a favourite of the original collectors) are very well represented.
Also has a collection of African art which I'm sure was popular a century ago but which I am not entirely comfortable with now.
Pleasant sculpture garden at the rear, and an exhibition space for temporary shows.
Because the 1st floor was still being renovated when I visited (August 2023) the ticket was half price. 3.50 Euro! And the kids went free! A bargain.
