Location excellent, loved the forest setting and shady pitches. Compact site everything within easy reach. Huge pitch private facilities were excellent. Pool layout was excellent for our toddler with a nice big pool too. Play area also fantastic. Things for improvement - maintenance around the pool area cracked tiles and sharp bits of the non slip surface which was coming off in some places, didn’t appear as though the pool area was hosed down at all in our 2 weeks. Had to ask twice for water slides to be turned on which was a bit annoying as this was at mid day. The biggest issue for us was the restaurant and takeaway. Service very hit and miss but quality of food needed improvement. pizza’s ok, ordered frites for takeaway one night and they were so overdone they were inedible. This isn’t good enough for a 5 star site, the worst campsite restaurant in 20 years of camping in France! Also takeaway wasn’t very convenient having to book a slot for delivery (even for a portion of fries) which arrived 30 minutes late. The rest of the food we were cooking on the BBQ was almost ruined. All other campsite takeaways you can just go and order food, wait 10 mins for it to be cooked, this system just isn’t convenient.
