Wonderful meal in Blois. Chef produces delicious food. We tasted the foie gras and snails as a starter. Foie gras- pate with duck breast amazing. snails - some of the best I had, garlic, parsley/herbs and some crushed nuts - texture and flavour balance perfect. Main course we had the pork and beef cheeks. Accompaniments and flavors were truly terrific. Pepper sauce for pork - not overly peppery with a sweet mustard balance. Beef cheeks is what one would anticipate - tender and rich, balanced by the grilled onion, mash and carrot. Le Castelet has great people and really fantastic food.

En vacance dans le coin pour la deuxième fois, nous sommes revenus dans ce restaurant car nous le trouvons parfait (décoration, service, personnel agréable, et cuisine excellente) nous nous sommes régalés. Prix en adéquation avec la qualité des produits. (Apéritif, entrée, plat dessert, demie bouteille de vin)
