This delightful chambers d’hote, bed and breakfast, was one of our first stays on our recent French road trip, and what an amazing start it was! This is the most delightful old establishment with a generous and knowledgeable hostess. |The history of the place is fascinating, with part of the premises in caves in the cliff which have been lived in. Our hostess told us all the stories and was happy for us to explore, telling us the way up to the swimming pool on the roof! What a view from there! |Our bedroom was the one in the pictures with all the beams, it was like staying on a stage set of the Three Musketeers! Very comfortable, with a good showers room. But another highlight was the breakfast which had everything you could think of in it, perfect unlimited coffee and local produce. We met two lovely American couples and had great discussions round the big breakfast table. |We would love to go back if we are in the Loire again, we couldn’t have been more warmly welcomed or better looked after.

L’accueil est très agréable, les conditions d’accès plutôt facile.
Vous serez logé dans un cadre typique avec un environnement années 80. Les draps et serviettes sentent bon, et le ménage est bien fait.
Attention au chien!!!! Non contrôlée par les propriétaires, la bête impressionne et aboie plutôt fort et tôt le matin! Impossible de sortir prendre l’air le matin, l’arène lui appartient.

Slightly away from the main city in a quiet area. Owner was very kind and gave advice where to visit in the city. Had a tough time finding places to eat after 7pm.

Formidable maison d’hôtes située en plein cœur de Vouvray. Anneli est aux petits soins. Tout était parfait, que ce soit l’accueil, la chambre, le petit-déjeuner. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement où je retournerai assurément. Mention spéciale pour l’incroyable piscine avec une vue époustouflante.
En résumé un véritable coup de cœur que je ne peux que recommander.
