Fabulous. La Maison de Jules is a beautiful house conveniently situated near the Musee de Beaux Arts. Our bedroom was huge; tastefully decorated and overlooking the garden. We had a warm welcome from Alexandra who is a natural host. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen. A delicious continental breakfast is served around the large table with other guests. Highly recommended.

Miss you already Alex! Not only was this place so quaint and conveniently located in Tour (good walking distance to the main part of town), but Alex was one of the funniest, most informative, and kindest hosts we’ve ever had. We got engaged and she got to share that day and moment to celebrate with us. Hopefully our paths will meet one day. ????

Mon épouse et moi y avons passé deux nuits en semaine. |Accueil très chaleureux et attentionné par la propriétaire. |Très belle grande demeure ancienne décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avions la chambre Léonard, grande et fort agréable, bien équipée et avec une belle lumière naturelle, et une literie confortable. |Petit-déjeuner sympathique et machine à café à disposition en libre accès.|Environnement calme et idéalement situé, permettant de visiter une partie de Tours à pied, notamment la vieille ville.|Stationnement possible par exemple au parking souterrain de la gare, très proche.|Nous reviendrons!

Alexandra, our host, was extremely helpful from the first moment we rang the bell to the time we left. Rooms were spacious and amazingly decorated with luxury details. | There were hand painted designs on the ceramic tile in the bath, a large shower and separate tub and two cantilevered sinks, complete with drawers. More luxury abounded in the bedding, towels, robes for guests, wall coverings, furniture, beautiful and original hardwood flooring throughout. Breakfast was special with the usual French offerings and the added choice of ham/cheese/scrambled eggs. The public spaces were also decorated with care and talent.
