VILLA ALECYA

We had a perfect stay here at Villa Alecy. Just everything was great. The hosts were very kind and spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean, in style and had comfortable beds. The food we got served during are stay was really the cherry on top. There was truly nothing left to wish for and we hope to back one time!

We caught the ferry to Cherbourg and faced a gruelling 8 hour drive to our final destination, so I decided to find us a hotel to break up the journey. I stumbled across Villa Alecya by chance by searching for hotels on Google maps just south of Tours. We booked a room, crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.|After a 4 hour drive from Cherbourg, we finally pulled up to the magnificent green gates of the Chateau and received a very warm welcome from Christophe. We drove up the driveway and we were left open mouthed at just how stunningly beautiful the grounds and Chateau are!|Christophe gave us a tour of the downstairs, before taking us up to our room. He explained that it is a Belle Epoque Chateau which was very run down with overgrown gardens when they bought back in 2017, and they spent 2 years lovingly restoring it. There’s a picture book in one of the salons with before and after pics. Each room we saw was beautifully and tastefully decorated, with the original features brought back to life. The gardens are also just gorgeous.|We stayed in the beautiful Madam Butterfly room, which had its own private terrace overlooking the driveway (we enjoyed a bottle of wine out there that night). This was one of those moments where you are delighted to discover you have found a real gem!!|The Chateau is located in a very pretty, traditional old village called St Catherine de Fois Bois. There is a three minute walk to an Auberge (restaurant) in the centre of the village, serving excellent food with great service. |We had breakfast the next day on the terrace with delicious food. We absolutely loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely return! Many thanks to Christophe and Anna for a wonderful stay!

Superbe maison bien rénovée qui offre de belles chambres et un immense espace extérieur.
Les propriétaires sont très serviables et ont préparé un petit déjeuner délicieux, je ne peux que recommander !

Je suis tombée sous le charme en voyant les photos sur le site, c'est un endroit magnifique, inspirant et décoré avec énormément de goût, mélange de moderne et contemporain avec des styles différents et recherchés. Acceuil très sympathique d'Anna nous relatant l'historique de la villa. Christophe nous a servi le petit déjeuner avec des produits maison que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous regrettons de ne pas être resté plus longtemps pour partager nos expériences de maisons anciennes, mais nous reviendrons prochainement. Cette villa de bord de mer en Touraine vaut vraiment le détour, charme, tranquillité et acceuil parfait.

Ce lieu est magique, insolite, à la fois rétro et moderne, tout simplement féerique.L'accueil des propriétaires est remarquable, les chambres sont sublimes, le petit déjeuner fait de nombreux produits maison est délicieux.|Si vous cherchez un bel endroit et des prestations de qualité, n'hésitez pas une seule seconde.
