????: It’s peaceful. Beautifully manicured garden with plenty of seating areas. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We left feeling very relaxed. This is our third stay and it had never disappointed us. We plan to come back again.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit au château des Essards. Nous avons été très bien accueillies par les propriétaires. La chambre est spacieuse et le petit déjeuner servi le matin copieux. Il faudrait pourtant revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la piscine, du jacuzzi et des jardins !
Nous recommandons fortement cette chambre d'hôtes !

Het is mooi, schoon en heerlijk rustig.
De gastvrouw is lief en behulpzaam wil alles voor je regelen.

????: A wonderful start to our French tour. Our hosts were so welcoming. Offered us a cold platter for dinner. Did not expect much but it was faabulous, as was the breakfast, in a beautiful dining room. The chateau and grounds are immaculate, clearly very well cared for and very comfortable. Great pool and Jacuzzi just added to whole experience. Wish we could have stayed longer..

Bel endroit calme et relaxant. Bon accueil. Salon sympathique accessible aux clients. Salle petit déjeuner agréable, mais quelque peu figée, les propriétaires ne partagent pas un café avec vous, dommage... Chambres spacieuses, quelque peu tristounettes dans leur décoration. Parquet grinçant, éclairage désuet et peu performant pour la lecture. Literie correcte. Propreté de l'ensemble satisfaisante. Un effort sur la convivialité et le partage seraient les bienvenus.

Wir haben bewusst ein Schloss für unsere Übernachtung gewählt – und Château des Essards hat unsere Erwartungen absolut erfüllt! Die Atmosphäre war romantisch, ruhig und einfach besonders.
Ein großes Lob an die Gastgeberin: Obwohl in der Buchung eigentlich keine Hunde erlaubt sind, hat sie eine Ausnahme gemacht und uns mit unserem Hund herzlich empfangen – das war wirklich außergewöhnlich freundlich und hat den Aufenthalt für uns perfekt gemacht.
Das Frühstück war hervorragend, liebevoll angerichtet und in wunderschöner Umgebung serviert.
Wichtig zu wissen: In den Zimmern gibt es keinen Fernseher – wir haben ihn nicht vermisst, aber für manche Reisende könnte das relevant sein.
Fazit: Wer ein stilvolles, charmantes Schloss sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Für uns war es eine 10 von 10!.
