Hôtel très propre et bien situé pour visiter les châteaux et le zoo de Beauval.|Les personnel est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux avec des viennoiseries! Nous avons pris la demi pension 2 jours sur 4 et le restaurant sert un délicieux repas : il y a suffisamment de choix pour varier les menus, le service est rapide.|Tout a été parfait, nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés !

I’m writing this review really to apologise for my rude and unpleasant behaviour on checkout. It’s extremely embarrassing to realise that the issue I was complaining about was entirely due to my ignorance regardless my behaviour was unacceptable and I am very sorry.
The issue was simply that we arrive in the evening and I asked for the price for a room for two adults and the dog. She quoted me €74 and even wrote it down on a piece of paper. In the morning the man-I assume they are coproprietors - set up the bill to include the €1 tourist tax +€9 for the dog. for some reason I was extremely upset about this, even though in the grand scheme of things it’s not very much money. I made a horrible scene during which I said so much the French hospitality and he said so much for English test and they also called me a bastard which I probably deserved.
it was only after my wife had paid in embarrassment that I spoke to a family with a dog outside and they confirmed what the Hotel has been saying was true that if there’s a government tax at the hotel has no control over therefore I understand why they had to insist and perhaps why they didn’t mention this on checking it was our first room in France with the dog so so I didn’t know, but that’s no excuse.
as for the hotel, rooms are very good for the price the only negatives I would say is that the walls are extremely thin and the reception smells very musty and damp. This was why I checked the room which didn’t smell at all, so advice to the owners of the hotel used to air out the reception to give a much better impression of the place overall. I think it must be very stressful for them because they did seem really unhappy from the evening and also in the morning no smiles no please or thank you et cetera so probably a very busy period which I obviously made much worse and was very negative.

Hôtel agréable, chambres spacieuses, nous étions 4 et avons pu bénéficier d’une chambre double.|Les gérants sont très gentils.|Il manque un salon chaleureux pour boire l’apéritif…|Les menus du restaurants sont corrects niveau prix, nous avons bien mangé malgré les délais un peu longs entre les plats et une serveuse qui étaient un peu perdue mais très sympathique.|Le petit déjeuner était copieux.
