曾经是异教徒的礼拜堂，据说岩石中的井水能治好眼睛，用壁画装饰。
这里曾是异教徒崇拜的地方，6 世纪时被基督教化。12 世纪、17 世纪和 19 世纪，人们在这里建造了一座小教堂，里面有一口挖在岩石上的井，据说井水在仲夏节可以治疗眼睛。壁画中最著名的是 "皇家狩猎"，描绘的是普兰塔奈特家族的成员，包括阿基坦的埃莉诺。小教堂在法国大革命后遭到亵渎，19 世纪才得以修复。

A small chapel and troglodyte dwelling, with some art installations making it a magical experience. No spoilers though. The friendly caretaker doesn't speak English but is full of information and very willing to pass it on.
I enjoyed the cycle ride up (tough climb!), the views and the overall experience immensely.

Dommage que les horaires de visites soient restreints, bien penser à calculer sa journée de visite à Chinon avec la cité royale qui en occupe une très bonne partie
