This is a beautiful hotel with a heavenly garden and terrace. We were staying in the superior family room and we loved it. The room has the original wooden beams.|The service was excellent. The rooms very clean with tea facilities.|Especially would like to mention Greg at the reception, who was very helpful, nice and very professional Gentleman.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Hotel Clos d’Amboise! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The little touches made it very special, including the soap products in the bathroom that smell delicious. We enjoyed a very special dinner in their restaurant. It truly reminded us of the only 3 Michelin Star restaurant in our home region. The hotel is located in a walkable small town near to many sights and wonderful restaurants and cafes. We would highly recommend Hotel Clos d’Amboise!

The exterior of the hotel is lovely as is the garden. I have no idea what the rooms in the manor house are like, but Do Not stay in the renovated stables. The walls are paper thin, only 2 sconces above the bed for light, and one side of the bed was against the the wall with the luggage rack at the foot. No way to get in or out without asking the person on the outside to get up, TRAPPED! There are no lifts, a staircase with no carpet, so incredibly loud when others leave or return. Two young women checked us in, so No one to assist with luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was lovely as was the restaurant for dinner.

A wonderful hotel located in Amboise. It's more expensive than others we stayed at in the area but the rooms are beautiful and large and I would recommend the hotel. Our room in the annex had a small table outside of it where we ate our breakfast that we had bought in the local market.
