The first stop on our two week driving holiday in France. We drove from Nantes airport to Amboise arriving at the hotel 2 1/2 hours later. It was easy enough using the navigation system. Keep in mind, the approach to the hotel is a bit tricky. You have to hang a right into a parking lot in front of the hotel, drive to the end, then turn a sharp left onto the hotel road…the parking lot is through a gate on the right. |The hotel is small, cozy and welcoming. The hotel DOES have an elevator, not sure why people said there wasn’t. It is an old manor with some imperfections… but that is part of the charm! The warmth and friendliness of the hosts, the lovely architectural details and the bar/sitting area make Le Manoir so wonderful to come back to after a long day of exploring. Close to restaurants and the sights make it a perfect place to stay

My wife and I were on vacation visiting the country of France. Ben though we had stayed in Paris many times it was a pleasure to visit the town of Amboise and to stay at this hotel.

Went to Amboise as our central location for trips to a few area castles and to the ZooParc de Beauval. The castles were great to see, but the Zoo at Beauval was extra spectacular!

I came with my grand daughter for one night ||We had a great time in the hotel and breakfast was perfect ||I’ll come back…

Chambre spacieuse, confortable et calme.
Parking possible dans la cour de l'hôtel.
