I just came back from a wonderful 3-day camping safari to Serengeti and Ngorongo with Avocet. This tour was full of highlights and memories I will never forget. Everything was very well organized and I would like to express my special thanks to our driver and guide Mike. He knows the parks very well and was very ambitious to find the best spots often off the beaten tracks. So we could see the big 5, lions hunting, lots of animal babies and lots of other lifetime experiences ????????????????????????????????. Furthermore Mike is a very responsible driving and very caring person what made me feel save throughout the whole safari.
Therefore I give well deserved 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from my heart.

We booked á 4 days safari by an agency and ended up with Avocet travel.
Our Driver and guide (Mike/Mikey/Michael) was very experienced not only as a driver but also as a guide in the wilderness of Tanzania. The roads were sometimes not good and the different weather circumstances didn’t make it better, but Mike managed. Mikes passion is nature and wildlife and during the safari we stepped into his world were he is so passionate about. The trip was very smooth, we’ve had a lot of fun with our group, we learned a lot and have seen many animals.
Our Chef Joe was also doing some magic in the kitchen everyday which was really good. Lots of variety in the meals and of course always fresh.
Also noteworthy to mention is how Mike and Franky (another driver from the same company) worked together, you really saw they had fun with each other and enjoying their work, that was also reflecting on our group.
Would recommend and ask for Mike!

The guide was actually just a driver. Very little information shared and the communication about the planning was really bad. The driver (Nicolas) was not friendly at all and was constantly arguing with the other people. It gave a stressful journey with him. He was also racing while driving.
The food was moderate while the other safaris had nice lunch boxes, our food was in pans that we had to serve ourselves.
All together definitely not a recommended company to enjoy a nice, informative and relaxing safari.
I’m ready amazed by the positive reviews since I hardly could give one star!

We had a wonderful 4 day safari with such a great guide Laurian! We truly had the best experience and would recommend this company. We saw so many animals, had great food and learnt so much about the animals. It was amazing!!

Our car guide/driver and chef cook were from avocet.
A special asante sanaa for Cosmos. What a guy! Pilot of medical planes, fluent in spanish, english swahili well respected along all other guides/drivers in the national parcs and a very kind human being he is THE one for your safari. It seemed that we had always the perfect timing or just „Cosmos Luck“
