Nice budget lodging with a short walk to the local GSR market and short walk to the water where I could launch my SUP and paddle around the bay. Prices are good and staff is friendly and helpful. Local Mauritian neighborhood with 15 minute access to the airport, also Blue Bay, Pont D'esny Beach and Beau Valon shopping mall.

In one sentence - It's good value for money. It's just 500 m from the Mahebourg bus station.
Mr. Rajesh (receptionist) is very helpful and will answer all questions patiently.

The usual check-in time for hotels in Mautitius is around 2 or 3 pm. Our flight landed in the morning and we needed a place to freshen up. Hotel Orient Guesthouse Auberge was a perfect, pocket-friendly choice, located 15 minutes from the airport, in the heart of Mahebourg! The rooms are clean, the shower has running hot water, there is a water dispenser in the common area (a blessing, since even the airport doesn’t have one), and there is a small common balcony and roofed terrace from where one can enjoy a stunning view of the sea.
Our gracious and friendly host, Mr Shafeek, helped us plan our day. Even though we had booked a full day’s stay (and informed in advance that we would be checking in only the next day early morning), he gave us a reduced tariff. He said that since we were using the room only for a couple of hours, he didn’t feel good about charging the full amount. What a sweet and kind gesture!
We shall definitely be returning to Hotel Orient Guesthouse Auberge on our next vacation.

Merci à Jordan pour son accueil et ses précieux conseils.

Ils nous ont accueilli de nuit de la meilleure des manières. Nous avons prolongé notre séjour dans son hôtel et nous y sommes retournés avant notre départ car à proximité de l'aéroport.

Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées.
Une cuisine commune est mise à disposition et des fontaines d'eau fraîche à tous les étages.

Je recommande.

Les 2 hommes qui nous ont accueillis étaient super sympas et ont répondu à toutes nos questions. Même en arrivant tard quelqu'un nous attendait. On peut se garer facilement, le logement est proche de tout. La chambre est très propre, serviettes et savon sont disponibles. La vue depuis chaque terrasse est très belle. Café et thé le matin, possibilité de laisser ses affaires la journée avant de repartir, franchement c'était parfait. On y retourne juste avant de reprendre l'avion et je suis vraiment contente ! Merci encore ☺️

Lovely place to sleep, it’s close to the airport and just a block away from the beach. Very friendly and accommodating host and best of all the price is a very reasonable 25 Euro a night! Comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the ocean, would certainly return back here.

Just keep in mind it’s cash only.

Guesthouse avec cuisine libre. Permet de rencontrer du monde. Très bien placé à Mahebourg, les bus sont tout proches. Chambres avec sanitaires et salles d'eau. Juste peut-être un manque d insonorisation, j espère que je n ai dérangé personne. En tout cas je reviendrai à cet endroit.

Value for Money. Drinking water available.
Noor such a nice gentleman. Shafiq is also a good person. The beach side room and bathroom are small. Otherwise, One common kitchen for all. Good for everything.

Petit hôtel très sympathique .C est simple, pas cher,propre et très pratique pour aller â l' aéroport ou sur blue baie. La station des bus est à 5 mns à pied. Le personnel est très gentil, accueillant, souriant et toujours près à vous rendre service. Je vous recommande cet guesthouse .

Very nice room clean spacious. Morning time sunrise room gets very hot with just a small fan on the desk which doesn't really do good. Good WiFi make your own breakfast but a good kitchen provided. Free coffee or tea and staff very helpful.

We had a booking of two rooms with balcony with ocean view. When we arrived after loooong 14hrs flight to Mauritius they said that a person responsible for booking made mistake and our rooms are booked. Instead of our booked rooms they send us to creepy and dirty hotel. I think they knew what they did and it was not a mistake with our rooms. Sorry but you cannot do that kind of things for a travellers. Behave better in future please!

GuestHouse, très sympa pour une dernière nuit avant d’aller à l’aéroport. C’est propre, le quartier était calme la nuit. Patron, très sympa et serviable.
Bon rapport qualité prix. Ça reste simple mais vu le prix il y a rien à dire. Il y a des restaurants, un glacier et une plage où on peut aller à pied. Wi-fi gratuite. Cuisine à disposition et grand salon et salle à manger disponible au rez-de-chaussée.

Nous avons eu une chambre dernier étage, vue sur la mer. C'était le top.
Nous sommes restés 2 nuits.
Nous sommes retournés 2 nuits.
Personnes très gentils.
Au rdc, possibilité d'amener à manger sur place, réchauffer, faire son petit déjeuner.

Une petite escale à Maurice où on a dû trouver le plus pratique et pas loin de l'aéroport où nous devions nous tôt le matin.
Près de la gare de Mahébourg cet hôte applique un prix très avantageux offre des services à la hauteur des attentes.
Petit restaurant à côté avec des spécialités et pour pas cher.
Nous recommandons le lieu.

Un super hôtel pour les voyageurs d'un jour ou plus. Pas la peine d'y venir pour du luxe certes mais vous serez très bien accueilli avec un grand sourire ????
Les chambres sont simples sans clim mais avec ventilateur, grande douche et balcon ou terrasse et le +++ c'est les "rooftop" pour partager un moment convivial entre amis.
Situé aux abords de mahebourg juste après blue bay il y a aussi quelques restos pas loin .
Dailleurs je vous conseille le Capitaine qui nous a servi a 21h un repas succulent.

Einfaches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service. Zimmer sind funktional und sauber. Gemeinschaftsküche kann mitgenutzt werden. -1* für ausschließlich kaltes Wasser am Morgen.

No es un cinco estrellas ni mucho menos, pero por el barato precio no está nada mal. Habitación bonita, limpia, cama cómoda...no tiene defectos la verdad. Estuvimos muy cómodos y el personal es muy agradable

Bon logement pour les départs tôt/arrivées tardives vers/depuis l'aéroport.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli, on nous a traité avec petits soins, où ils nous ont proposé des services qui ont bien dépanné.
Concernant la chambre elle était propre, nous avions la vue sur la mer à travers les vitres. Petit bémol : l'isolation était quasiment nulle et le bruit de la ville était malheureusement présente. Malgré cela, on ne regrette pas notre séjour à cet hôtel que l'on recommande si vous cherchez un bon rapport qualité-prix

Excellent guesthouse! Strong wifi on every floor, calm balcony attached to the room, a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view, and our favorite part was the wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our conversations with the host and the insight he had to offer on travel. Overall, great value for money. Highly recommend!

We also appreciated the airport shuttle, and that we could rent a car from the hotel.
