HOTEL ROYAL WILLIAM

L'hôtel était en rénovation. Pas d'ascenseur, beaucoup de bruit et de poussière. Outre cela, le ménage dans les chambres n'était pas au top. Par contre, le personnel était vraiment très gentil et serviable.

Estuvimos de visita en este hotel y lamentablemente no nos tocó buena suerte, el hotel estaba en plenos trabajos de remodelación, no funcionaba el elevador y nos dieron cuarto en el piso 4,,,subir escaleras con maletas y sin ellas , un martirio, eso si, nos dieron buena atención en recepción y contestaban todas nuestras dudas. la ubicación hacia el viejo Quebec también es algo distante.

A great historical yet updated and well appointed boutique hotel a short walk from Historic Downtown Québec! Rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated with modern and eclectic decor. Very quiet rooms despite facing a heavily used road… impressive. Staff are very helpful and courteous. The hotel is ideally situated just about 20 min walk from the Old City, and there’s plenty to eat and entertain right out the front door, just a minute or 2 away. Bonus is underground parking available just a couple minutes away outside the front door… worth the cost with in and out privileges.

Nous avons été bien reçus! Au départ une chambre du quatrième étage nous avait été attitrée cependant en raison des rénovations et l’ascenseur étant hors d’usage nous avons réussis à se faire changer de chambre au deuxième étage. Le personnel est courtois, les chambres sont neuves, très belles et vraiment propres. Nous y retournerons une fois les rénovations terminées pour pouvoir profiter des installations!

This was my first visit to Quebec city and I booked a room 2 nights for 2 adults and 1 child. We arrived early to the Hotel Royal William to inquire if we could leave our luggage somewhere as check in time was not until 4 pm. A lovely man at the desk named John stated that was not a problem that our room was ready for us.

He also asked if we would mind taking a different room from what we had booked as the elevator was not working due to renovations. To our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a suite which had a kitchenette. The room was spacious, with a great large bathroom, very clean and plenty of space for our belongings. And we got to check in early!

As we started our adventures for the next 3 days, we asked John many questions and never once did he get impatient with us. He readily showed us on maps how to get to the places we wanted to go. He was so very helpful and accommodating.

The person who came on later in the day was just as pleasant and helpful as John was. I am sorry that I didn't get her name. Again she was very help with all our questions and provided us with bus passes so we could get to the Quebec aquarium.

This was a great experience for us all.
