Despite securing a reservation a month in advance, my party and I were subjected to an unexpected and lengthy wait time upon arrival—over half an hour, only to be told that we'd have to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated. This situation was particularly disappointing given our anticipation and the effort to plan ahead. While I understand that restaurants can be unpredictable, the management of our reservation and the communication regarding the delay were significantly lacking. For those looking to dine here, please be aware of the potential for extended wait times, even with a reservation. I hope this account of my experience can help others make informed dining choices and encourage the establishment to address these service issues.

I am deeply disappointed to leave a review about our experience at La Forge Steakhouse. Despite making a reservation for a party of 9 a month in advance for 8:30 pm on a Saturday, our evening was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait for 15 minutes, which we obliged. After patiently waiting, we were informed it would take an additional 15 minutes. Fine, we thought, things happen. However, when we returned after the second delay, we were shocked to hear that our table wasn't reserved at all. The manager casually mentioned that the people occupying "our table" would be leaving "soon." Not only were we left waiting without a reserved table, but when we questioned why our reservation wasn't honored, the manager had the audacity to claim it was because of their "resort style" seating policy. Resort style or not, a reservation made a month in advance should be respected and upheld. This flimsy excuse only added insult to injury, highlighting the establishment's lack of accountability and customer service. To add insult to injury, we left the restaurant a whopping 40 minutes after our reserved time with still no sign of food. Forty minutes past our reservation time, we were not only hungry but also utterly disappointed and frustrated by the lack of competence and professionalism displayed by La Forge Steakhouse. It's unacceptable to keep patrons waiting for such an extended period without any explanation or resolution. Our evening was effectively ruined by this abysmal experience, leaving us hungry, aggravated, and regretting ever choosing to dine at La Forge Steakhouse.

Great bison but the flank was overcooked. Bone marrow was great and the dessert was delicious. Amazing wine list. Overall a little expensive compared to similar establishments but since it’s at Mont-Tremblant the premium is justified. Service and ambiance are top notch.

Visited during the busy Family Day weekend. The restaurant was busy but service was prompt and the food was good. Overall a pleasant experience. A little overpriced, but to be expected in a tourist destination.
